Stories of the Strange and ScaryThere are few rules for the Nightmare Fuel podcast. Instead, this bi-monthly fiction feature simply brings together some of the most imaginative storytellers to be found and lets them loose with their own creativity. The result has been an unexpected and overwhelming success. Nightmare Fuel has attracted the talents of Michael Cieslak, Peggy Christie, Kay Kirscht, Dave Mondy, MontiLee Stormer, Jerrod Balzer, Rich Ristow, S.D. Hintz, Mark McLaughlin and Allegra Lingo. Rob Callahan, who produces the podcast, has been known to contribute a story when needed as well.
Nightmare Fuel features the music of many wonderfully talented musicians. From our house band Cantankerous Folk (who recently broke up as a live act, but promised to keep it together for the podcasts) to our friends Angie Stevens and Astronaut Wife who have contributed musical interludes, the podcast is an aural pleasure. The wickedly-twisted artwork of Whittney A. Streeter graces the cover of every episode.
Future new featured storytellers will include Robert Subiago, Allison Broeren, Mahmoud Hakima, Ben San Del and Courtney McLean.
